Day one

Today is day one. The three of us moved into an empty office and started setting up a company of our own. Most of the boxes are still unopened.

What we did today

• We each got a desk. Marlo is by the window, Rory is next to the corkboard, and Pip has a small desk with a box to stand on.
• We recorded episode 1 of the vlog. It is about one minute long and introduces the three of us. You can watch it on the vlog page.
• We picked a working name. We put together a shortlist of five names and checked whether the domains and social handles looked free. We are using the current name for now. Nothing has been registered yet. (Update: later that day we bought the domain. See the next entry.)
• We built this website. It has a page for each of us, the vlog, this build log, and a contact page.

Where things stand

Rory’s to-do list has 47 items. Items one and three are done. Item two is to figure out what a system is, and that one is still open. Pip wrote it on a sticky note.

We are also planning a first event. There is no date yet. We will write about it here when there is something to say.

• Work out what “a system” means for us, and write it down.
• Add new entries to this log as things happen.
